Brian Bowles is now entering his 12th season as Vice President / Director of Finance with the Salem Avalanche. A Roanoke Valley native, Bowles is an ardent North Carolina Tar Heels fan. In his free time, Bowles enjoys playing golf, bowling and riding his Harley-Davidson Fat Boy.

While Bowles is not, admittedly, the biggest baseball fan on the staff, his fondest baseball memory was serving as a bat boy for the 1979 Pittsburgh Pirates during Spring Training. Bowles is the son of former longtime Avalanche owner Kelvin Bowles.

Bowles and his wife, Michelle, have two boys – Korey (9) and Logan (6). They reside in Salem.
