Advance Ticket Sales
Tickets for future Avalanche games at Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field may be purchased in one of the following ways:

  • In Person: Tickets are available at the main box office located adjacent to Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.
  • By Phone: Tickets are available by calling 540-389-3333.
  • On the Internet: www.salemavalanche.com.
 
ATM
There is an ATM Machine located in the Souvenir Store adjacent to the Avalanche offices on the left field concourse.
 
Beer & Wine Sales
The Avalanche and Salem Concessions encourage all patrons 21-and-over to please drink responsibly and designate a sober driver. All fans that consume Beer or Wine at the Ballpark must present valid ID at the All Sports Café ID Check Station located inside the main Ballpark gates. Salem Concessions reserves the right to refuse the sale of Beer or Wine to any patron at their sole discretion.
 
Concessions
There are two full-service concession stands, two beverage express stations, one Ice Cream Café, one Hometown Ballpark Grille and several vendors and carts throughout the stadium.

Elevator
An elevator is located behind home plate. The elevator is to be used by Skybox Guests, Club Guests, press and employees only.
 
Family Atmosphere
Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field is a place for families to come enjoy themselves in a clean, wholesome atmosphere. Fans are asked to refrain from using foul language while at the Ballpark. Offenders may be subject to ejection from the Ballpark.
 
Fan Interference
In an effort to protect both fans and players, the Salem Avalanche maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding fan interference with balls in play or any player on the field. Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate removal from Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field and may result in prosecution.

First Aid
In the event of an emergency, please find the closest Avalanche employee who will help you find an EMT to assist you. The Carilion First Aid Station is located on the back concourse near home plate.
 
Food and Beverage Policy
Due to Carolina League Rules, no outside food, beverages, coolers, bottles or cans are allowed into Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field at any time.
 
Foul Balls
Foul Balls can be hit into the stands at any time. Please be alert! You are welcome to keep any balls that are hit into the stands. At no time, however, is anyone allowed to throw a ball back on to the field. Violators will be subject to ejection. In addition, any fan that interferes with a live ball in play will be removed from Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field immediately.
 
Gates Open
Gates will open one hour prior to the start of all Sunday – Friday Home Games during the 2008 season; Gates will open 90 minutes prior to the start of all Saturday Home Games.
 
Guest Relations
The Bumper-to-Bumper Customer Service Center is located directly behind home plate on the main Ballpark concourse. The booth is open 30 minutes prior to gates opening and closes 30 minutes after the game is over.
 
Lost and Found
Lost articles should be returned to the Bumper-To-Bumper Customer Service Booth located behind Home Plate. These items will be held for two weeks after they’ve been turned in. If you feel your item may have been lost at Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field, please call 540-389-3333 to report / reclaim your lost articles.
 
Merchandise & Souvenirs
The Salem Avalanche offers a large team store with a huge selection of souvenirs. The Avalanche team store is located next to the Avalanche offices on the left field concourse. You can also shop online at salemavalanche.com or by calling 540-389-3333.
 
On-Field Access
On-Field Access is limited to authorized personnel only. Any guest who is not authorized and attempts to access the field will be removed from Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field immediately and may be subject to prosecution.
 
Parking
Parking is available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis in front of Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium.
 
Promotional Items
Promotional Items are generally given out to the first 1,000 fans through the gates. In order to receive an item, a fan must have a game day ticket and pass through the turnstile.
 
Radio Broadcasts
All Avalanche games are broadcast on TBA.
 
Rain Policy
If a game has been postponed due to rain or any other factor prior to completion of an official game (4-1/2 innings if the Avalanche are winning), fans may exchange tickets for a ticket of equal or lesser value to a future home game, subject to availability. If the game is called and it is an official game (4-1/2 innings with the Avalanche in the lead), then your ticket is not redeemable for future games.
 
Restrooms
Restrooms are conveniently located throughout the Ballpark.
 
Smoking Policy
There is no smoking in the seating areas of Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field. There are designated smoking areas located on either side of Home Plate, on the back side of the concourse.
 
Ticket Policy
There is a NO REFUND ticket policy at Lewis-Gale Medical Center Field.  However, tickets may be exchanged for a future Regular Season game due to the postponement of a game.
 
Umbrella Policy
For the safety and convenience of all fans, umbrellas are allowed in the stadium.  Umbrellas may only be used during rain delays.
 
Will Call
The ServPro Will Call window is located to the right of the main entrance at the “lower” Ticket Booth.
